Faded photos in my mind They flicker, glitch, then realign Every smile you left behind Cuts sharper every time I breathe but it won’t stay Your shadow slips away I hold it like it’s safe But it’s breaking anyway Running in a circle Never reaching you Every trace is fragile Every sound is proof I’m lost inside a memory It plays but it won’t set me free Every frame is tearing me Like it’s all I’ll ever be I’m screaming in the static now Your voice is fading, wearing out I’m holding what is gone But still I don’t let go (me-me-memory) Spinning still, falling in You don’t see, you don’t see— I’m breaking again Your laughter’s just a blur Like signals never heard I try but can’t return To the fire that used to burn Chasing through the silence No exit, no maps What we were is fractured And I can’t bring it back I’m lost inside a memory It plays but it won’t set me free Every frame is tearing me Like it’s all I’ll ever be If I vanish in the dark, Would you even trace the spark?
